Papersmart policy

Following frequent requests to streamline the production and distribution of paper documents and in accordance with the cost efficiency goals contained in the Programme and Budget for 2014-15, members of the Governing Body have been informed in the letter of invitation that paper versions of Governing Body documents would no longer be sent by post. All pre-session documents will be made available for download on the ILO website (www.ilo.org/gb).

Nevertheless, should a Governing Body member need the paper version of a given pre-session document, he/she may make a special request by filling in a form available at the information desk. With this form duly filled in, he/she will be able to pick up the required document from the distribution desk (DISTR, R3 north).

Please note that in-session and confidential documents will be made available as usual during Governing Body sessions as follows:

  • In-session documents will be distributed within the group meetings;
  • Confidential documents will be distributed in nominative sealed envelopes via the delegates’ pigeon holes.

For any question regarding the distribution of documents before the start of the Governing Body, please contact RELOFF (Corinne Frassier, frassier@ilo.org).
