Collective bargaining outcomes on gender equality in France

This study assesses the practices and outcomes of company collective bargaining on gender equality and identifies the obstacles and specific measures to combat pay inequalities between women and men in France. Carried out by a multidisciplinary team of researchers of the University of Strasbourg, the study is based on a field survey of ten companies from various sectors in the Eurometropolis of Strasbourg. Different research methods were used and interviews were conducted with the companies covered by the study, as well as with the social partners at branch leveland the labour department of DIRECCTE Grand Est.
