The ILO publishes a wide range of books, reports, working papers, training manuals, CD-ROMs, videos and flash movies, relevant to the South Pacific Island Countries. Some of these can be downloaded directly. Others can be requested from the ILO Library in Suva.

This report is a collection of various media articles on child labour and related issues published in The Fiji Times during the EU funded ILO TACKLE - Tackling Child Labour through Education project. It highlights the multi-dimensional scope of child labour, and the crucial role played by the media on advocacy and awareness.

  9. Rural community rehabilitation through emergency public works in response to the deadly flash-flood damage in the Solomon Islands

    The Cash for Work pilot programme provided wages and tools to support target communities to clean-up and repair of public areas and infrastructure (common gardens, halls and churches, schools, wells, drains and paths) that were damaged by the recent floods.
