ILO-IPEC’S Elimination of Child Labour in the Soccer Ball Industry in Sialkot project achieved all its measurable targets, and beyond. Apart from the statistical success, the most telling long-term impact of the ILO-IPEC Soccer Ball Project was convincing the people of Sialkot district that children must not be denied their right to be children; right to education, recreation and health cover. This report elaborates on the project while highlighting relevant information about the target groups, objectives, project strategies, achievements and impact.
