Inter-agency programme to nurture peace, security and decent work through local development in conflict areas of the Philippines (Bondoc Peninsula): Project update February 2013

The combined livelihood interventions of International Labour Organization (ILO) and Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) benefited around 5,200 individuals (farmers, women, youth, indigenous peoples, micro-entrepreneurs) or 88 per cent of the overall three-year target of 6,000 beneficiaries.

Major milestones and accomplishments after the three-year project implementation includes the implementation of livelihood support activities that was based on local economic development principles and processes; strengthening of institutional coordination and partnership; maternal and child health protection; and integration of disaster risks reduction management and promotion of social protection.
