Scoping Mission on the ILO Building a Generation of Safe and Healthy Workers (Safeyouth@work Project)

Mr Nicholas Levintow, Chief Technical Adviser and Ms Valentine Offenloch, Programme Officer, from the Safeyouth@work Project based in ILO Geneva was in Manila from 17 to 18 August 2015 for the ILO project design mission. This is in connection with the newly approved project entitled: Building a Generation of Safe and Healthy Workers funded by the United States Department of Labor (USDOL).

The mission team met with key Philippine tripartite partners, Construction Industry Tripartite Council (CITC), University of the Philippines Manila and the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) to improve country scopes of work for the project and facilitate start-up of country level activities in the Philippines.
