Community child care: Training manual
The manual is a training tool and technical reference guide to support the development of community-based childcare centres that offer high quality and affordable childcare, and provide decent employment opportunities for childcare givers in communities, be they women or men, working as entrepreneurs or in business groups.
The manual is intended for community members who are already engaged in providing childcare services or want to start setting up such services in their communities, as well as community extension workers with expertise in child, gender, equality, business and cooperative development, facilitators, trainers and leaders who want to help community members provided affordable, quality childcare among disadvantaged and marginalized groups in Indonesia for the economic empowerment of women, their families and communities.
