In various fields of work, violence and harassment are still experienced by many workers in Indonesia, and this is experienced by both female and male workers, including interns. Those who are victims of violence in the workplace can experience trauma, and even if they are still working the conditions will be uncomfortable, their minds are unhealthy and unproductive.

Globally since 2019 there has been an ILO international convention no. 190 concerning the Elimination of Violence and Harassment in the World of Work, but in Indonesia specifically this issue there are no guidelines or regulations in the world of work. Then what are the efforts to protect workers from violence in the workplace? And how can K3 be a step to tackle gender-based violence?
