On 11 September 2012 a factory fire in Karachi trapped and killed more than 250 workers. The inadequate safety measures, fire exits and inappropriate response from rescue operators could not extinguish the fire and the largest ‘Industrial Disaster’ in the Pakistan took place. The high level tripartite workshop will help articulate commitment of constituents and identify recommendations to promote Safe Work.
