Labour and Social Trends in Viet Nam 2021, Outlook to 2030

The International Labour Organization (ILO) in Viet Nam and the Institute of Labour Science and Social Affairs under the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs jointly produced the “Labour and Social Trends in Viet Nam 2020, Outlook to 2030” report.

The report contains in-depth analysis, evidence and information on the labour market, social issues as well as the social trends in Viet Nam during the last ten years with an aim to further enriching the research and study pool, contributing to advocacy and evidence-based policy formulation for all concerned. It also serves as an important source of reference in the development and finalization of the Decent Work Country Programme between the ILO in Viet Nam and tripartite constituents for the period of 2022-26.

As the report highlights achievements and progress made, it analyses and identifies labour and social gaps in the national socio-economic development strategy towards improving growth quality, inclusive growth, green growth and sustainable development for the coming years.
