Better Work Viet Nam introduces a unique new publication for factories: “Stitching a Future: Stories of Hope and Success in Viet Nam’s Garment Industry.”

Bringing together a range of personal stories from workers from across Viet Nam, this Photo Diary offers a unique insight into the lives and experiences of those employed in the garment industry today.

“The stories also provide an account of the often difficult life circumstances faced by factory workers, and the inspirational journeys many of them have made to overcome adversity and achieve success and recognition in their field,” says Nguyen Hong Ha, Programme Manager, Better Work Viet Nam.

Better Work Viet Nam believes the Photo Diary will be of interest to workers, office staff and managers alike. It showcases the opportunities that exist for workers to grow and progress in the industry. The diary shows the sense of pride and motivation among workers, helps dispel negative stereotypes of the industry and shows how with hard work and dedication, workers can fulfil their dreams and ambitions.

It will also serve as a useful training aid, for example, when inducting new workers or explaining the opportunities that exist for promotion and advancement in the industry.
