DA NANG (ILO News) – More than 30 labour and employment journalists from major media organizations in Viet Nam gathered in the central city of Da Nang on 18 July for a training workshop in the new Labour Code.

The two-day event, organized by the International Labour Organization in Viet Nam and the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs, was part of the efforts to disseminate and enforce the new important law which came into effect earlier this year.

During the training, representatives of the most-read newspapers and popular broadcasters from Hanoi, HCM City and Da Nang had an opportunity to learn and discuss important changes in the Labour Code with a focus on the issues of industrial relations and sexual harassment at workplaces.
