This webinar will present the findings and suggestions from the new technical brief on healthy and safe teleworking, jointly developed by the WHO and ILO. The speakers will discuss the health benefits and risks of teleworking and the changes needed to accommodate the shift towards different forms of remote work arrangements brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic and the digital transformation of work. They will also discuss the responsibilities of governments, employers, and workers in this regard.

The event will be open for all World Congress participants and other occupational safety and health (OSH) experts worldwide, as well as the general public. The webinar, organized by ILO and the Nordic countries, will present the latest research on the unpredictable world of work and proactive preventive actions to ensure Decent and Safe Work. The event will include remarks from high-level guests, including ILO Director General Guy Ryder.
