Research and analysis on global supply chains

The ILO conducts significant research on topics relevant to supply chains. The Office has made a substantial contribution to knowledge in a variety of areas, from macro to enterprise level research. Most ILO research and analysis relevant to global supply chains fall under a few main areas: the global functioning of supply chains and their impacts on jobs and development; their impacts on working conditions and labour rights; and, finally, the governance of labour within supply chains. Several resources are highlighted on this page and additional resources can be found on the ILO LabourDiscovery repository.
