The ILO and SPARK, an NGO promoting higher education and entrepreneurship in conflict-affected countries, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to formalise and expand their joint activities in Fragile Settings.

Specifically, this partnership aims to:
• support aspirant and existing entrepreneurs in conflict-affected environments;
• share knowledge, learning and innovation related to business support and employability activities;
• promote decent work and quality jobs as well as advocacy in removing barriers to doing business.

The ILO and SPARK have also agreed to establish a joint training programme to realise their partnership.
