  1. JEUN’ESS: Promotion of Social and Solidarity Economy and Creation of Decent Jobs for Tunisian Youth

    The JEUN’ESS project aims to create decent jobs for young people in disadvantaged areas and support the transition to the formal economy through the promotion of the social and solidarity economy (SSE). The project proposes an approach based on the promotion and strengthening of collective entrepreneurship through SSE organizations and mechanisms.

    The project aims at contributing to the respect of economic and social rights for the Palestinian population.

  5. Dignità in campo in Italy

    1 December 2018 - 31 December 2020

    The main aim of the project is to prevent new forms of labour exploitation in the agricultural sector and to promote new practices in social economy through pilot actions in two territories in Italy.

  6. Research Project on "Financial mechanisms for Innovative Social and Solidarity Economy Ecosystems"

    1 April 2018 - 30 June 2019

    Supported by the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social and Solidarity Economy of the Government of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, this project aims at fostering a better understanding of the global ecosystems, i.e. the relations and interactions between a number of Social and Solidarity Economy (SSE) stakeholders favouring SSE, and the financial mechanism that supports and consolidate them.

  7. EMPOWER: Building peace through the economic empowerment of women in Northern Sri Lanka

    9 January 2018 - 8 June 2019

    The objective of this project is to increase access to economic empowerment, social integration, resilience and peacebuilding participation for conflict affected women in Mullaitivu, one of the most conflict-affected Northern Districts of Sri Lanka. The project is funded by the UN Peace Building Fund and implemented by the ILO, WFP, and Puthukkudiyiruppu Women Entrepreneurs’ Cooperative Society.

  8. Cooperatives to Strengthen Youth Empowerment and Employment Readiness among Vulnerable, Marginalised and At-Risk Groups

    Young people in Cambodia and the Lao People's Democratic Republic face specific challenges in accessing the labour market. For those in employment, many are in poor quality and low-paid jobs. The project aims to build institutional capacities to deliver innovative and value-added services with a special focus on employment readiness/foundational skills empowerment, and cooperative development for marginalized and at-risk youth.

  9. Development of a Social Economy Policy in South Africa (Government of Flanders & National Economic Development Department of South Africa)

    This project seeks to take advantage of the favourable conditions for developing a social economy policy for South Africa, following the implementation of a range of projects that have enhanced existing knowledge and built a community of actors and agencies committed to growing and developing this sector.

  10. Promotion of Organizations and Mechanisms of Social and Solidarity Economy (‘PROMESS’) in Tunisia

    The main objective of this project is the creation of sustainable and decent jobs for young women and men in Tunisia through the promotion of organizations and mechanisms of the social and solidarity economy.
