Call for expression of interest: Consultants database on cooperative and social and solidarity economy (SSE) development

News | 23 April 2019
The ILO promotes the cooperative business model to create and maintain sustainable enterprises, offering jobs that not only provide income but also pave the way for broader social and economic advancement, empowering individuals, their families and communities. ILO’s work in cooperative development is based on the firm conviction that the promotion of the social and solidarity economy (SSE) such as cooperatives, mutual benefit societies, associations, foundations and social enterprises is an efficient way to promote social justice and social inclusion for all members of society.

The ILO's Cooperatives Unit (COOP) intends to update its database of potential consultants or companies on cooperatives and SSE development. Interested experts or organisations that wish to be included in the database are invited to submit necessary documents to the Unit. Details including the eligibility and how to apply can be found here.

Deadline for submissions: 7 June, 2019 (midnight Geneva time)
