    The Governing Body is invited to: decide on the arrangements for meetings to be held in 2021, including the appointment of chairpersons (section I); authorize the publication of revised ILO guidelines for flag State inspections and for port State control officers carrying out inspections under the Maritime Labour Convention, 2006, as amended (section II); and endorse the proposals in relation to global sectoral meetings and other sectoral work for 2022–23 (section III) (see the draft decision in paragraph 22). In version "Rev.1" of 03 March 2021, the draft decision and appendices I and II have been corrected.

    Matters relating to the Administrative Tribunal of the ILO: Proposed amendments to the Statute of the Tribunal

    This document contains proposals for amendments to the Statute of the ILO Administrative Tribunal and to its Annex with respect to: (i) the procedure according to which an international organization that has recognized the jurisdiction of the Tribunal may revoke its declaration of acceptance; (ii) the term of office of judges and the geographical distribution and gender balance in the composition of the Tribunal; and (iii)the extension of the appointment of judges in the event the Conference does not meet prior to theexpiry of their term of office. The Governing Body is invited to approve the proposed amendments andtransmit those to the 109th Session (June 2021) of the Conference for possible adoption (see the draftdecision in paragraph 53)

    This document provides an update on the headquarters building renovation project, including the security perimeter. The Governing Body is invited to approve the final scope and budget of phase 2 of the project and to authorize the Office to proceed with the contract for phase 2, within the limit of available funds (see the draft decision in paragraph 21).

    Follow-up to the resolution on the ILO Centenary Declaration for the Future of Work: Proposals aimed at promoting greater coherence within the multilateral system

    The ILO Centenary Declaration for the Future of Work, adopted by the International Labour Conference at its 108th Session (June 2019), declares that “[o]n the basis of its constitutional mandate, the ILO must take an important role in the multilateral system, by reinforcing its cooperation and developing institutional arrangements with other organizations to promote policy coherence in pursuit of its human-centred approach to the future of work, recognizing the strong, complex and crucial links between social, trade, financial, economic and environmental policies.” This document reviews the Office’s collaborative relationships and engagements within the United Nations and the wider multilateral system at the global, regional and national levels. It highlights potential avenues for future collaboration with individual institutions, and provides proposals to advance the Declaration’s call for reinforcing cooperation and developing institutional arrangements for the consideration of the Governing Body (see the draft decision in paragraph 57).
