This volume presents selected extracts from international labour Conventions and Recommendations, as well as from relevant resolutions and conclusions of various ILO conferences and bodies, all relating to the field of labour law and labour relations. It updates the five preceding issues (no 4, 14, 24, 34 and 44) in the Labour Management Relations Series and is addressed to all those interested in the development of industrial relations in the world today. The aim is to make available the main international standards and guiding principles to all those interested in the development of industrial relations in the world today. The following areas are covered: freedom of association; collective bargaining; the settlement of labour disputes; enterprise-level labour relations; labour relations in the public sector; tripartism; employment security; and remuneration.
