The instructors’ module of the Training Toolkit on HIV/AIDS for the road transport sector is intended for anyone called upon to deliver training about HIV and AIDS. The instructor may be working in a road transport company, a training institution or a trade union and may be delivering training in a more formal setting or meeting drivers at union meetings, border crossings or “truck stops”. The instructor may be a travelling counselor working on a project as a volunteer. The instructor does not have to have a background in HIV/AIDS issues or prior training experience.
