New ILO report to be released on COVID-19 impact on youth education
GENEVA (ILO News) – The ILO will be launching a report on Tuesday 11 August on the devastating impact of COVID-19 on youth.
The study analyses how learning has been affected by the transition from class room to online and distance learning and how this might affect their future careers and job prospects.
The report will be under STRICT EMBARGO until Tuesday 11 August 20:00 Geneva time (18:00 GMT).
For UNOG-accredited correspondents an embargoed virtual press briefing will take place on Tuesday 11 August from 12:00 to 13:00 GMT (14:00 to 15:00 Geneva time). Login details will be sent to journalists ahead of the briefing.
