ILO joins the UN Environment Management Group to examine System Resiliency & Health-Related Interdependencies

On Thursday 16 July participants from all over the world joined a webinar organized by the UN Environment Management Group on System Resiliency & Health-Related Interdependencies as part of a 3-part series of Nexus dialogues on COVID-19 and the Environment.

This webinar was the third installation of COVID-19 and the Environment: A 3-Part Series of Nexus Dialogues, which aims to facilitate a multisectoral and multilevel stakeholder exchange of perspectives on the environmental implications of the pandemic, building community-wide expertise, gaining understanding of systems and pooling collaborative capacities. This webinar focused on discussing how to protect the resilience of social, economic and environmental systems as member states have observed failure and degradation of a variety of systems and institutions during the COVID-19 pandemic. The panellists included experts from the ILO, WHO, UNEP, WWF, GIZ and CBD.
