Decision on the first item on the agenda: Election of the Officers of the Governing Body for 2014–15
The Governing Body elected Mr Apolinário Jorge Correia, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, Permanent Representative of Angola to the United Nations Office in Geneva and other international organizations in Geneva, to the post of Chairperson of the Governing Body of the ILO for the period from June 2014 to June 2015.
The Governing Body elected Mr Jørgen Rønnest (Employer, Denmark) as Employer Vice-Chairperson of the Governing Body, and re-elected Mr Luc Cortebeeck (Worker, Belgium) as Worker Vice-Chairperson of the Governing Body, for the 2014–15 period.
