ProAgro Project in partnership with the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs (MOLSA), Jobs Creation Commission (JCC), and other development and social partners developed a draft rural employment services facilitation strategy. This strategy is aimed to support the efforts to link the local labour and human resource needs of the agribusiness sector in the rural areas. Both primary and secondary sources of data were used to draft the strategy paper. Key informant interviews with JCC, EIC, Integrated Agro-industrial park managers, Ministry of Trade and Industry (MoTI) and other stakeholders’ representatives were conducted. The final draft of the paper was presented during the rural employment services facilitation strategy Virtual Roundtable Discussion held on 16 September 2021. A total of 19 stakeholder representatives participated during the discussion and provided their valuable comments and feedback.
