On 2 November, ProAgro Ethiopia hosted the first meeting of the technical advisory group. The meeting had representatives from Ministry of Industry (MoI), Ministry of Agriculture (MoA), Federal Cooperative Agency (FCA), Ministry of Labour and Skills (MoLS), Ethiopian Investment Commission (EIC), Confederation of Ethiopian Employers Federation (CEEF), Confederation of Ethiopian Workers Trade Union (CETU) and ProAgro project team, International Labour Organisation (ILO). The chief guest present at the meeting was H.E Ato Nigussu Tilahun, State Minister, Ministry of Labour and Skills (MoLS). He stated that “Platforms such as TAG are instrumental and can be used for policy formulation and revisions.’ Participants also discussed the projects governance structure, its objectives and responsibilities.
