Short description

In collaboration with the International Finance Corporation (IFC), the Lab documented IFC’s Rice Sector Support Project (RSSP) in order to assess its employment impact at different points along the value chain. The brief highlights the successes of the project in facilitating improved rice production as well as significantly enhanced exports, and lays out how these gains have contributed to more and better jobs at the level of millers/re-processors but also at farm-level. The brief wraps it all up by providing a set of recommendations to further improve the Cambodia rice value chain and outlining key lessons learned from the project.
