Isah Fasasi is a 25-year-old Nigerian entrepreneur from Lagos. In 2022, he received training in digitalisation as part of the “Digitalise your Business” (DYB) pilot in Nigeria. His company named “Fashonline” designs and sells clothes and accessories. Its name refers to the prospective idea that the business would start selling online. Before Isah participated in the DYB training, the company used to adopt exclusively traditional business operations. Fashonline had few digital aids and reached a low number of clients.

The DYB training pushed the business from traditional to digital advancements. It helped Fashonline grasp the opportunities of the digital realm and get the most out of the Internet. After the training, Isah was able to improve the brand’s promotion and sell online.

The training prompted me to adopt e-marketing strategies and to look for digital payment solutions for my business. With this, Fashonline increased its outreach and started getting payment from all over the world."
