Promoting Labour Standards through Corporate Social Responsibility: instruments and practices
This training course looks at the role of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in today’s globalized world of work and at the potential of private initiatives to contribute to the respect of labour rights and the achievement of “decent work for all”.
It will provide participants with an overall understanding of the current trends and challenges in CSR, and with an overview of ILO and other instruments that can assist those engaging in dialogue with multinationals and other enterprises.
The course also provides the opportunity to become acquainted with company practices and different CSR initiatives in implementing core labour standards.
