Gouv. de Philippines (11 avril 2022)
The Philippine Embassy in Buenos aires reported that a certain Corporal Homero Gutierrez (+59899691972) of the Uruguayan Prefectura Naval said on 23 March 2022 that, based on their database, the said ship was not "abandoned" and was, at that time, waiting for authorization to enter the port of Montevideo to load livestock. Mr. Mohammad Moltasar whom the Uruguayan Prefectura Naval identified as the maritime agent of the vessel, claimed that they are in contact with the crew on board and that he is not aware of any news of the abandonment of the vessel by its owner. He assured the Philippine embassy in Buenos Aires his agency continued to provide provisions to the vessel while it was waiting to anchor. He added that the vessel would be in Montevideo for 10-15 days to load livestock.

The Philippine Honorary Consul in Montevideo was also able to talk to a certain Mr. Rene Estano who conveyed the following:
• The vessel is now in the anchorage area of the port of Montevideo and they expect to load 17,000 heads of cattle destined for Egypt.
• "it is not true that they have not received their wages. The “allotment” for January was only received last [month], and the allotment for February will be released this week or next week, which is technically April. The wages are clearly a month late."
• All seventy (70) Filipinos are healthy and well. They were in the "service area" of Uruguay for a month and did not disembark [to port] at any time. Mr. Estano is not sure if they could disembark for some rest and recreation (R&R) when they dock in the port because they were told that due to COVID-19, they are not allowed to do so.
• The Filipino crew members were deployed by Korpil Ship Management located in Roxas Boulevard, Manila.
