Fairplay International reported that the ship was under arrest in Taiwan following a hunger strike by its crew who had not been paid for 15 months. An agreement was reached with the ship's local agent to pay the crew part of their wages. The agent had requested that the vessel be arrested and sold to pay for debts owed to both the port and seafarers.

Fed. Int. de los Trabajadores del Trasporte (ITF) (14 Julio 2006)
UPDATE: The total amount owing to Filipino seafarers that were repatriated in December 2003 is US$224,604.09. The courts found in their favour however, it has not been possible to enforce the decision due to the closure of the manning agency, Alliance Maritime Support Services Inc., and the disappearance of the owner of the company. It is understood that the shipowner, - China Sea Cruises, is a co-defendant, but there are limited possibilities for pursuing the case against him due to reasons of location.

Fed. Int. de los Trabajadores del Trasporte (ITF) (21 Enero 2008)
There are no known further developments with this case. The vessel has now been broken up.
