ITF (25 November 2022)
We would like to share our updates with relation to the seafarer object of the MLC complaint referred to in the Abandonment case of DENA 110’, IMO Number 9003407, Flag: Iran.
We do acknowledge that the seafarer was disembarked and repatriated home to India.
However, out of the $2725 due to him at the moment of repatriation as per the information we received from the seafarer, he was paid only $800 in Iran at repatriation and then $700 once he reached India. The seafarer is still due $1225.

ITF (17 March 2023)
Seafarer was paid and repatriated, but his owed wages were discounted by US$1,225
