Comments and Observations:ITF (13 October 2020)
The plan was to sail to Istanbul but the ship still currently under arrest.
This vessel is part of the PALMALI Shipping & Agency company, which has a number of abandoned vessels around the world.

Govt. of Malta (19 October 2020)
The Directorate has been closely monitoring the situation on board Palmali vessels since we became aware of the state of affairs of the company. Following the various problems faced by the seafarers on board the three vessels, the Directorate made various attempts to resolve their unfortunate situation by making representations with owners without success. The Directorate also corresponded with three different P&I Clubs which were the insurance providers of the vessels at some point in time. Unfortunately, this did not yield a satisfactory outcome. On 2 July 2020, the DOC together with all associated SMCs were withdrawn.
The AGDASH (IMO NO: 9435325) was deleted from the Malta register on 4 September 2020 at the request of the owners. It is to be noted that prior to the deletion of the AGDASH, it was ensured that all crew were repatriated and paid in full.
During the entire period the Directorate has and still is collaborating closely with the ITF who are providing logistical support in order to resolve this impasse at the earliest. The Directorate also provided financial support to the seafarers in the sum of €10k to a fund catering for the needs of the seafarers.

ITF (22 October 2020)
Salaries for August and September have been paid (total USD 79,540).
All crew remain on board for repatriation.

ITF (23 October 2020)
From ITF Arab World and Iran Network Coordinator
All the crew on board of the AGDASH (IMO NO: 9435325) are still on board, and none was repatriated.
Their wages of August and September have been paid and settled. So no payment are due to the crew.
To be more exact, we do inform that all the ship arrived on 16th January to the Egyptian port, with 15 crew(5 Russians, 1 Ukranian, and 9 Azernabaijan).
The Ukranian seafarer passed away and 14 have remained since. There was a unique crew change of one seafarer in March 16th, the rest are still there now, awaiting the notification of the release by the local port authorities, to sail to Istanbul.

Govt. of Egypt (25 October 2020)
From President of Maritime of Transport sector
We have preceded our communication immediately with all concern parties (ITF Arab world regional secretary) and we check the situation from our side with the vessel's port agent (sphinx agency)

1. All crew wages had been paid by the ship's owner until September.
2. The vessel will be released soon.
3. A crew change will be applied and carried out at Egypt as per owner plan.
