Comments and Observations: | ITF (20 September 2021) This vessel has already reported as abandoned by the ITF in 2019 when it was in Sudan and where it was sold after a long legal course. It is now with a new owner and new crew are abandoned The vessel was in Egypt in April 2021 with 17 crew. 8 were disembarked and repatriated with wages paid by owners and one of those repatriated returned. So actual total crew on board is 10.
ITF (10 February 2022) Most of the crew have been paid and repatriated. Our information is that 2 seafarers remain on board
ITF (25 July 2022) 6 crew are still suffering on board . The ITF is working to repatriate them, but the local agent is not collaborating. The Egyptian maritime authorities have been asked to assist the repatriation of the crew. The ITF is providing humanitarian assistance as they have no fuel and therefore no electricity. The owners and local agent are not providing any provisions for the crews basic needs. The ITF has offered legal assistance to the crew.
