Prohibits slave trade of all forms.
Obliges States parties to completely abolish or abandon institutions and practices, including debt bondage, serfdom, child labour, where they still exist and whether or not they are covered by the definition of slavery contained in article 1 of the Slavery Convention.

Convention for the Suppression of the Traffic in Persons and of the Exploitation of the Prostitution of Others. -

Abolishes prostitution and obliges States parties to punish any person involved in prostitution either by way of enticing or exploiting another person or by financing/ managing a brothel and similar buildings/places.
Encourages Parties, through their public and private educational, health, social, economic and other related services, to take measures for the prevention of prostitution and for the rehabilitation and social adjustment of the victims of prostitution. Obliges States parties to adopt or maintain such measures as are required, to check the traffic in persons of either sex for the purpose of prostitution.

United Nations Slavery Convention. -

Obliges State parties to the Convention to prevent and suppress the slave trade as well as to completely abolish all forms of slavery as defined in Article 1. Recognizes the need to prevent forced labour, which may only be exacted for public purposes, from developing into slavery.
