This Act is divided into 6 Chapters and 31 sections. Chapters 2 and 3 provide for the registration, operation, management and recognition of trade unions; Chapter 4 deals with the appointment, functions, duties and powers of registrars; Chapter 5 concerns trade union funds and auditing of such funds; and Chapter 6 provides for miscellaneous matters including trade union amalgamation or merger, disclosure of information by trade unions, cancellation of registration and dissolution of trade unions, and penalties to be imposed on trade union officers for any damage caused by them to their trade unions.
