    Law to amend a part of the Employment Measures Law and a part of the Law concerning the Promotion of Local Employment Development (Law No. 79 of 2007).

    The first part ensures employment opportunities for workers by: banning firms from placing age limits when recruiting and hiring employees; conducting practical vocational training programmes; and making it obligatory for firms to report the situation concerning employment of foreign workers. The latter revision provides for measures to promote employment in regions where the unemployment situation is particularly severe.
