    This decree is targeted at the improvement of the effectiveness of the state management in the sphere of employment, also the optimization of the system of central bodies of executive power. Accordingly, eliminates the State Service of Employment; also establishes that unless the laws "On Compulsory State Social Insurance in case of Unemployment" and "On Employment" are amended, the bodies of state service of employment continue their activity in the spheres of employment, labour migration and social protection against unemployment.

    In accordance with Law of Ukraine on social and legal protection of military personnel and their families, the Cabinet of the Ministers of Ukraine approves the Procedure of appointment and payment of lump-sum grant in case of loss (death), disability or partial disability without establishing disability of soldiers, conscripts and reservists called up for training (or check) and special charges, or to serve in the military reserve. The Procedure is attached to the ordinance.
    Also repeals, inter alia, Decree of the Cabinet of the Ministers of Ukraine No.488 of 19 August 1992 on terms of state compulsory individual insurance of military personnel and conscripts called up for charges, and procedure of insurance payment to them and their family members (ZP Ukraini, 1992, No.10, p.242).

    Amends article 182 of the Labour Code providing that women having adopted a child can take 56 calendar day vacation leave. In case of more than one child adoption she can take up to 70 days.
