Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation against Trafficking in Persons in the Greater Mekong Sub-region. - Adoption: 2004-10-29 | INT-2004-IA-93359 Sets out the commitments of the parties with respect to fighting against human trafficking in the Greater Mekong Sub-Region. These include efforts in the area of national and international policy making and cooperation; legal frameworks, law enforcement and justice; protection, recovery and reintegration; preventive measures; and mechanisms for implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the MoU.

Memorandum of Understanding Between the Government of the Kingdom of Thailand and the Government of the Kingdom of Cambodia on Bilateral Cooperation for Eliminating Trafficking in Children and Women and Assisting Victims of Trafficking. - Adoption: 2003-05-31 | INT-2003-IA-70625 Parties are to undertake necessary legal reform and other appropriate measures to ensure a legal framework for preventing trafficking in conformity with the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the Convention on the Rights of the Child, the Conventions on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women and other international human rights instruments. Part II deals with preventive measures, which are to include, inter alia, measures establishing educational and vocational training programmes, increasing social services, enhancing awareness of trafficking, dissemination of information to the public. Part IV deals with protection of trafficked children and women, Part V regulates cooperation in suppression of trafficking of women and children, Part VI with repatriation, Part VII with reintegration, Part VII establishes a joint task force and Part IX contains the final provisions.

Law on Suppression of Kidnapping, Trafficking and Exploitation of Human Persons. - Adoption: 1996-02-29 | KHM-1996-L-59890 Prohibits kidnapping of humans for purpose of trafficking or prostitution, as well as exploitation of persons inside and outside of Cambodia. Chapter 2 sets forth sanctions for kidnapping of persons for trafficking or prostitution, Chapter 3 sanctions for pimps, and Chapter 4 sanctions for committing of obscene acts.
