Sets out new legal and administrative measures adopted by the Royal Government of Cambodia in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. These include restrictions on freedom of movement, peaceful assembly and the right to work. The Law allows 20-year prison terms and fines of up to 20 million riels (USD 5,000) for those convicted of violations. The law grants the Government power to ban or restrict any gathering or demonstration.

On 2nd June 2020, the Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training issued a notification on additional reminder on prevention measure and activities against COVID-19 at factories and businesses to inform the owner of factories, enterprises and especially for garment industries have to continue to follow the guidelines from the Ministry of Health in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Sets out instructions from the Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training for all owners or directors and employees/workers of factories, enterprises, establishments for returning to work for those who took leave during Khmer New Year.
