Salaried workers deposits are to be paid into the fund by both the worker and the employer (3% of salary with employer paying in 0.5% and the worker 2.5%). For self employed workers, the contribute on an individual basis.

This may be used under Law No. 13/2003 concerning Manpower to justify the dismissal of workers if COVID is deemed to be a "Force Majeure". Employers who choose to dismiss workers will be required to pay their employees a 1-time severance pay, 1-time long service reward and 1-time compensation money (Law No. 13/2003 section 164(1)).

    Makes a number of modifications to the previous law on Elections. This includes the requirement that political parties are to have at least 30% women representation in the party¿s central management. The candidate list is also to include at least 30% of women.

    In particular, Law No. 8/2012 adds an additional provision in Article 56 paragraph (2) which states that: for every 3 (three) potential candidates, the women potential candidates can be placed in the sequence number of 1 or 2 or 3 and onwards, and thus they are not restricted to number 3, 6, and so forth. This provision affirms the idea that women candidates do not necessarily have to always be placed on the last number of every three candidates in the list (it should also be noted that this provision underlines the importance of the candidate number assignment in the list, even in the open proportional system with majority vote).

The law designates non-financial businesses, in addition to Indonesian banks and providers of financial services, which are required to report suspicious transactions to PPATK.

    Money gained from criminal acts falling within the scope of this law include crimes related to: corruption; bribery; narcotics; psychotropic substances; labour trafficking; smuggling of migrants; banking; capital market; insurance; customs; clearance; trafficking in persons; illicit arms trafficking; terrorism; kidnapping; theft; embezzlement; fraud; counterfeiting; gambling; prostitution; taxation; forestry sector; environmental field; maritime affairs and fisheries, or other offenses punishable by criminal sanction of more than four years jail.

Protection is to be given from the stage of investigation to that of inquiry, prosecution and examination during court sessions. Protection includes protection of personal security, keeping identity of victims and witnesses in secret, and provision of information during court sessions. Chapter III regulates procedures for providing protection; Chapter IV deals with financing.

Chapter IV provides for management of national defence system, and Chapter V for fostering of defense capabilities. Chapters VI and VII deal with supervision and financing.
