This includes the requirement that political parties are to have at least 30% women representation in the party¿s central management. The candidate list is also to include at least 30% of women.
In particular, Law No. 8/2012 adds an additional provision in Article 56 paragraph (2) which states that: for every 3 (three) potential candidates, the women potential candidates can be placed in the sequence number of 1 or 2 or 3 and onwards, and thus they are not restricted to number 3, 6, and so forth. This provision affirms the idea that women candidates do not necessarily have to always be placed on the last number of every three candidates in the list (it should also be noted that this provision underlines the importance of the candidate number assignment in the list, even in the open proportional system with majority vote).

Repeals the Presidential Decree No. 40/2004 on the National Plan of Action of Human Rights in Indonesia for 2004-2009.
Also mentions the following UN Conventions which are implemented in Indonesian Laws:

This law expands the list of agencies permitted to conduct money laundering investigations; increases the ability of the independent Financial Intelligence Unit (PPATK) to examine suspicious financial transactions; expands institutions authorized to obtain results of PPATK analysis or examination of transactions; creates a streamlined mechanism to seize and freeze criminal assets; expands the entities which must file reports with PPATK and increases some criminal penalties for money laundering offenses. The law designates non-financial businesses, in addition to Indonesian banks and providers of financial services, which are required to report suspicious transactions to PPATK.
Money gained from criminal acts falling within the scope of this law include crimes related to: corruption; bribery; narcotics; psychotropic substances; labour trafficking; smuggling of migrants; banking; capital market; insurance; customs; clearance; trafficking in persons; illicit arms trafficking; terrorism; kidnapping; theft; embezzlement; fraud; counterfeiting; gambling; prostitution; taxation; forestry sector; environmental field; maritime affairs and fisheries, or other offenses punishable by criminal sanction of more than four years jail.

Law on National Defence (No. 3/2002). Adoption: 2002-01-08 | IDN-2002-L-61263 Comprehensive legislation on national defence. Chapter I sets forth general provisions; Chapter II defines principles, objectives and functions of national defence. Chapter III regulates realization of national defence. Section 9 establishes duty of every citizen to participate in efforts to defend the country, including obligation to perform basic military training. Chapter IV provides for management of national defence system, and Chapter V for fostering of defense capabilities. Chapters VI and VII deal with supervision and financing.

Prinicples of this ethic shall prioritize honesty, sportiveness, working ethos, independence, tolerance, shame, responsibility, maintenance of self-respect and dignity as citizens. Also establishes guidelines for policies and operational norms to promote such principles.

Inter alia, provides for freedom from forced labour (s. 20), protection for children from economic exploitation and work which endangers the child (s. 64), and women's rights. Establishes a National Commission for Human Rights.
