    Presidential Decree No.3 of 2011 concerning the employment on Hellenic Commercial Fleet of seafarers who are citizens of EU Member States, as well as concerning acknowledgment of services provided by Greek seafarers on ships having the flag of a EU Member-State (Προεδρικό Διάταγμα υπ'αριθμόν 3: "Περί προσβάσεως σε θέσεις εργασίας επί Ελληνικών Εμπορικών Πλοίων, ναυτικών, υπηκόων Κρατών Μελών των Ευρωπαϊκών Κοινοτήτων και αναγνωρίσεως θαλάσσιας υπηρεσίας που διανύεται από Έλληνες ναυτικούς σε πλοία που φέρουν σημαία Κράτους Μέλους των Ευρωπαϊκών Κοινοτήτων, προς απόκτηση αποδεικτικών ναυτικής ικανότητας")

    It amends the Presidential Decree 12/1993.

    Para 1 of Article 2 is replaced by a para mentioning that seafarers citizens of EU Member States have the same opportunity to access employment on Hellenic Commercial Ships. The positions of captains and deputy captains on Hellenic Commercial Ships are available to those seafarers citizens of EU Member States, having the appropriate qualifications, on the supposition that they have proficiency in Greek language.
