    Law (4144/2013) provides that the Financial Police is equally competent, along with the labour inspectors, to control undeclared employment of workers. It also attempts to fight undeclared employment of workers who illegally receive unemployment benefits. In addition to other penalties provided by law, Law 4144/2013 introduced a special fine of EUR 3.000 for each worker who is employed while receiving unemployment benefits. If the worker who is receiving unemployment benefits was fired and consequently rehired by the same employer, the fine amounts to EUR 5000 per employee.

    Makes a number of amendments to Law No. 344/1976 concerning registration of civil status.

    The Law regulates, in its article 1, para B, sub-para B1, issues of pension, insurance, health care and social security contributions of public servants, parliament members, mayors and elective organs of the Organisation of Local Authorities (OTA). Sub-para B2 raises the retirement age of public servants, judicial functionaries and members of the Legal Council of the State (NSK) and adjusts their eligibility to pension and their right and prerequisites for retirement. Sub-para B3 introduces general diminutions to monthly pensions and multiple monthly pensions exceeding 1.000 Euros. Sub-para B4 abolishes holiday allowance and rest allowance. Sub-para B5 sets amending provisions for the computation of the pension granted by the State to unmarried or divorced daughters. Sub-para B9 expands the scope of the present Law to include employees of the Organisation of Local Authorities (OTA) and of Public Entities, the personnel of the Hellenic Railway Organisation (OSE) as well as the employees of the social security agencies competent for the Railway Network personnel.
    Para C, sub-para C1 inserts detailed provisions on the wages readjustment, as well as a general abolition of the holiday and rest allowances granted to functionaries, public servants and employees and officers of the State, of Public Entities, of Legal Entities of Private Law and of the Organisation of Local Authorities (OTA), as well as to permanent officials of the Armed Forces, the Hellenic Police, the Fire Brigade and the Port's Corps.
    Para G regulates matters of competence of the Ministry of Administrative Reform and E-Governance by adjusting issues of personnel transfer and suspension (including suspension in the context of a disciplinary or criminal procedure), of abolition of specialities and positions and of limitations to appointments at the State Sector.
    Para K introduces regulations concerning the Manpower Employment Organisation (OAED), abrogates several sections of laws (Laws N° 778/1999, 2941/2001, 3144/2003, 3385/2005, 3408/2005, 3460/2006, 3518/2006, 3526/2007, 3667/2008, 3717/2008, 3746/2009, 3762/2009, 3996/2011) with regards to the special subsidies of unemployment and the special bolstering of income to unemployment and enacts an increase of the retirement age as well as a reduction of pensions and retirement annuities. It also determines the maximum rate of the insurable emoluments, provides for a replanning for the retirement of the uninsured, introduces a unified system of pension inspection and payment, adjusts the issue of compensation for dismissal against private sector employees under open-ended employment relationships and simplifies the procedures relating to the Employment Inspectors Body.

    Presidential Decree No.194, 23 September 2005, concerning the creation of a Quality and Efficiency Department for the Ministry of Employment and Social Security, as well as a Unit for Easy Access to the Ministry of Employment and Social Security for People with Disabilities.

    Provides for the organization of patterns and methods of measurement of the efficiency and effectiveness of the working units in the Ministry of Employment and Social Security and their provided services, as well as the monitoring of the evolution and the elaboration of such information.

    Contient des dispositions sur la structure et les compétences du service central du Corps d'Inspection du Travail (S.EP.E.). Les objectifs du S.EP.E. sont, entre autres, la supervision et le contrôle de l'application de la législation du travail, l'investigation et la poursuite des infractions au droit du travail et la poursuite de l'emploi clandestin.

    Décret Présidentiel no 95 du 14 mai 1999 concernant les conditions de la formation et du fonctionnement des Services de Protection et de Prévention.

    Dans le cadre des mesures concernant la sécurité et la santé des travailleurs et en application des directives CEE 89/391 et 91/383, sont créés les Services de Protection et de Prévention au sein de l'Inspection du Travail (S.E.E.) qui accordent les titres de technicien de sécurité et de médecin du travail et assurent un appui aux employeurs pour qu'ils respectent leurs obligations concernant la sécurité et l'hygiène des travailleurs.

    Loi no 2639 du 1 septembre 1998 concernant la régularisation des relations de travail, la création du Corps d'Inspection du Travail et autres dispositions.

    Prévoit notamment la régularisation de certaines formes d'emploi comme le travail à domicile, le travail rémunéré à la pièce, la prestation de services et le travail à temps partiel. Crée et définit les compétences du Corps d'Inspection du travail. Contient également d'autres dispositions relatives à l'octroi d'aide médico-pharmaceutique à certaines catégories de chômeurs. Prévoit un congé parental qui couvre la période suivant le congé maternité jusqu'à l'âge de 3 ans et demi.
