Agreement on 2014 Public Sector Wage Negotiations. - Adoption: 2014-05-02 | GHA-2014-M-96872 The Public Services Joint Standing Negotiating Committee (PSJSNC) comprising Government, represented by the Fair Wages and Salaries Commission (FWSC), Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Employment and Labour Relations on one hand, and Organised Labour on the other, have today, 2nd May, 2014 concluded negotiations on public sector wage adjustment and agreed as follows:
1. That in 2014, Cost of Living Allowance (COLA) will be paid in lieu of an increase in the Base Pay on the Single Spine Salary Structure.
2. That the COLA will represent 10 percent of the 2013 Basic Salary.
3. That the COLA will be paid monthly effective May 2014.

Sections 13-18 - Deals with administrative matters of the Commission including appointments, functions etc.
Sections 19-24 - Establishes the Grievance Review Committee, sets out its composition, functions and tenure of office of members.
Sections 25-32 - Deals with financial and miscellaneous matters.

Minimum Wage Regulations, 1999 (L.I. 1658). Adoption: 1999-08-13 | Date of entry into force: 1999-11-26 | GHA-1999-R-56819 Determines that the minimum wage per day of a worker in Ghana shall be two thousand and nine hundred cedis. Provides for exemptions from this rule.
