Implements Directive 2002/15/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 11 March 2002 on the organisation of the working time of persons performing mobile road transport activities; contains 11 sections respecting, i.a., field of application (s. 1), definition of a wage earner (s. 2), limitation of working hours etc. (ss. 3 to 6), right to compensation (s. 7) and penalty (s. 8); the EU Directive is contained in Annex 1.

The text further contains 11 annexes, inter alia, EC Council Directives (89/391/EC), (89/655/EC), (90/269/EC), (91/383/EC), (92/85/EC), (89/656/EC), (90/394/EC), (97/42/EC), (98/24/EC), (2000/39/EC) and (2000/54/EC).
