This Law is developed for the purposes of reasonably using the land resources, strengthening the land administration and protecting farmland.

Amends articles 51(1) concerning Agricultural technology popularization institutions and 52(1) concerning Agricultural scientific research institutes of the Agriculture Law of the People's Republic of China. This amendment is included in the 2012 revised text of the Law.
