Résumé/Citation: | The Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan/ The Ministry of Labour and The Government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia/ The Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in the field of human power in Addis Ababa, 15/08/2012. The MoU will help to jointly review and agree on standard employment contract for Ethiopian workers employed in Jordan. The MoU is significant to study emerging employment opportunities and suggest measures of technical cooperation, training skill enhancement and to provide all the sectors with technically skilled personnel for the benefit of both parties. Moreover, it will serve as instrument to combat human trafficking and it will help to protect the rights and well-being of Ethiopians working in Jordan through curbing problems between employees and employers. |
