| Résumé/Citation: | Revokes and replaces section 310A concerning punishment for giving a female in marriage or otherwise in badla-e-sulh, wanni or swara. Also Adds a new Chapter XXA concerning offences against women. These include the prohibition of depriving women from inheriting property; prohibition of forced marriage; prohibition of marriage with Holy Quran. Also inserts new section 402D prohibiting Provincial Governments from interfering in rape sentences. |
