Abstract/Citation
AN ACT to make new and improved provisions for the registration of merchant ships to meet the demands of the present-day shipping industry; and to provide for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.
The Act contains 13 Parts and 114 articles. The Parts cover the following:

Repeals the following:
- Registration of Merchant Ships Act, as amended,
- Registration of Merchant Ships (Registration and Miscellaneous Provisions) Regulations (S.I. 111 1991)
- Registration of Merchant Ships (Variation of Fees) Order, 2010 (S.I. 56 2010).
