| Résumé/Citation: | The Decree amends the fine in Article 335 of the Penal Code No. 148 of 1949, increasing it to twenty thousand Syrian pounds. The opening lines of Article 336 of the Penal Code No. 148 of 1949, are amended as follows: all crowds gathered in processions on public roads or in places open to the public is considered to be the gathering of a riot, and is punishable by imprisonment of one month to a year and a fine of fifty thousand Syrian pounds. |
