Brings into force the new unified and comprehensive Social Insurance Code.

Repeals a total of 31 old social insurance statutes. In addition to those linked below, it also repeals the following Acts and Ordinance:
- Act (1962:382) concerning the introduction of the National Insurance Act;
- Act (1947:529) on general child benefits;
- Act (1977:267) on war compensation to seamen;
- Act (1988:360) on its handling of the car allowance to persons disabilities;
- Act (1988:1463) for benefits in cases of adoption of foreign children;
- Act (1989:225) on the compensation of carriers;
- Act (1993:737) on housing;
- Act (1996:1030) for maintenance support;
- Act (1998:1755) on specific measures for people with three-quarter sickness compensation or activity;
- Act (2001:853) on the Elderly;
- Act (2004:115) on self-service via the Internet in social insurance administration;
- Act (2004:274) concerning the establishment of Social Insurance;
- Act (2004:778) on the general agent of social insurance;
- Act (2009:986) concerning the establishment of the Pensions Agency;
- Ordinance (1988:890) on car allowances for persons with disabilities.
